Taking his style way out of the norm,
Open Hand doesn't look like anything we have seen before.
Paul Guzman-Sanchez has designed a new system of popping that has a unique and different style and flavor. After having dance camps to help preserve and teach to the next generation of street dancers a style that is almost obsolete Cool Pockets has kept to the original concept of popping. He has added a new feel to the movements to create his own style called Open Hand. Open Hand is branch of popping but goes to another level of funk and movement. Keeping to Cool Pockets way of thinking and not to give in to trends he feels to create something new is almost impossible in this time with everything that comes out new is all of a sudden blasted all over the networks the next day. By Cool Pockets staying out of the circle of street dancers and staying true to what he learned back in the 70's he has kept a pure understanding of what the dances were and what they were intended to be. Keeping that in mind he has made a original style that is very aggressive that moves and travels all over the floor giving a much greater depth to his performance. Seeing is believing and when you take a class or get to see him dance then you will have a clear understanding of his direction of urban street dance using OPEN HAND.

is a long time student and has been training in the Open Hand System with Cool Pockets since 2002. Ammo is the most original stylized popper using the Open Hand System to connect to that original funk feel of the 70's before Hip Hop and Break Dancing. He is the top in Europe demonstrating skills of the original style using the Open Hand system.

This was a 3 day intensive in the new style of Open Hand that has been created by "Cool Pockets". This camp was the first time it
was taught to the public. Cool pockets is one of the best kept secrets of street dancing and is now revealing his technique to the world.
With a background in street dancing for more than 30 years Cool Pockets has developed his style of street dancing to a whole new
level of ability. Challenging, exciting, aggressive, and deep in the pocket of history's funk Open Hand is a powerful designed art of dance.
